Several months ago we had dinner at my brother's girlfriends house. Her mom made the best Mochiko Chicken and she was kind enough to share the recipe with us. We finally made it last night and it was delicious. I thought we'd have leftovers but we ate the whole batch! Sorry no pics though - you'll just have to trust me that it was that good.
Mochiko Chicken
Sauce:
¼ cup sugar
¼ cup cornstarch
¼ cup mochiko flour
¼ cup flour
2 eggs
2 ½ T shoyu
2 T garlic – minced
2 T green onion (optional)
Directions - Soak boneless cut chicken pieces for at least 2 hour. Deep fry.
